So after evicting the 400 out of the xjs I’d figure I might as well mock up my 350 in it so I wouldn’t have to take the sedan all the way apart just for a dry fit, and i must say it looks quite spiffy in there and amazingly there’s only one clearance issue. The headers are a no-go, passenger side rubs the body and the driver side isn’t anywhere close to fitting with the steering arm in the way. Although the sedan’s engine bay is a tad bit wider than the xjs’ the steering gear is still in the exact same spot so I’ll have to figure something out.

these conversions are common there should be some help out there for you somewhere
